Ali said it, and he was right.  He went on to "SHOCK THE WORLD!" as he explained in his post fight interview.  The amazing thing about Ali was that he knew he was "the greatest" before everyone else.  CONFIDENCE can go along way.  Before anyone else will believe in you, you must believe in yourself.  Sonny Liston and the rest of the world became believers as Ali stood watching Liston refuse to come out of his corner to continue to fight.  Whatever it is you are doing in life, you must have the "I'm a bad man!" attitude.  Tell the world, "THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
